a quaint home.

If you love vintage treasures and painted animals as much as I do, take a peek into the home of Lisa Zador for some inspiration. I do love a collector.

fancy wearables.

I am completely infatuated with the great Emily Martin's new locket collection. I have loved her artwork for quite a long time, so I am pretty excited by the idea of wearing one of her beautiful paintings around my neck, perhaps with a tiny old family photo tucked inside. ($40-$55)

interior inspiration : old photographs.

I myself collect them and hang my favorites around the house. I love making up stories about the people I find in random old photographs- there's such an obvious history to many of them.

another etsy crush.

This time it's on Zelda English and Rodrigo Neto of Captain Cat Collective. They sell a mixture of folk animal masks, vintage goods, handmade/refurbished clothing, anthropomorphic paintings, and stunning photography. I'm pretty smitten.

pretty girl, pretty look.

Loving this look from Supayana, as photographed by Arden Wray. Such a lovely, classic dress- and that girl gives me major hair envy.

ten images of inspiration : warmer days ahead.

I must say, I am mighty sick of the rain up here in the Pacific Northwest. As nice as it sounds against my bedroom windows, I am craving repeated days of sunshine. And now that's it's May, the days are getting warmer and the sun is showing itself more often. Summertime warmth, I'm ready for you.
